It was a busy weekend for local Search and Rescue teams.
In one rescue, Chilliwack Search and Rescue say its a miracle a man survived after a 9-hour rescue on Mount Rexford.
A 40-year-old man and his 15-year-old nephew were climbing, when the uncle suddenly fell 70 feet and landed on a two foot ledge.
That ledge was the only thing that prevented him from falling 15-hundred feet further.
Meanwhile a child was rushed to hospital in critical condition after falling from a cliff in Lighthouse Park.
The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating a fatal fall in Squamish.
A 31-year-old woman was out hiking with her fiancé on the Habrich Trail above the Squamish Gondola when she fell about 20 metres Sunday afternoon.
And North Shore Rescue successfully airlifted a hiker in medical distress from Colliseum Mountain.
