The BC SPCA says Vancouver’s first pop-dog cafe was a “huge” success.
Hundreds of people lined up to spend a few minutes with the dogs that were available for adoption.
Despite the long wait to get in, people thought this was a great idea.
“I think a lot of people get expose to the dogs who might have not seen before so then probably a lot more of them will get adopted,” one said.
“It’s such a fun way to like raise money for the dogs and they’re so cute.”
“It’s kind of like the cat cafe where people can go and build a relationship with them.”
The cafe asked for a $10 dollar donation – all profits will go towards the BC SPCA.
Staff members said they will definitely be doing another pop-up cafe soon.
