Abbotsford Police are looking for some Good Samaritans who helped a 16-year-old girl on Sunday, July 31st.
The APD says it’s now investigating the possibility that the teen – and a 14-year-old girl – ingested the drug GHB.
The 16-year-old was spotted out and about by the Good Samaritans, who noticed she appeared upset and intoxicated.
They managed to get her home to her parents.
The 16-year-old said she couldn’t remember the events leading up to the Good Samaritans finding her.
The 14-year-old was eventually located nearby by the 16-year-old’s parents.
Police hope to speak to the Good Samaritans who assisted the teen.
They were believed to have been in the area of the Matsqui Recreation Centre and Skateboard Park, in the 3100 block of Clearbrook Road.
Officials say the time frame would have been from 11:00 PM, Saturday, July 30th, to Sunday, July 31st, at around 1:00 AM.
Anyone with information should contact Abbotsford Police.
