Three premiers want more wine to flow between provinces.
British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec have agreed to open up trade lines between the provinces through online sales.
How will prices be affected?
Parliamentary Secretary for Liquor Reform John Yap says details are still being worked out.
“In effect what would happen is, when a B.C. winery say ships product to Ontario, it will go to Ontario without the B.C. mark-up, and Ontario will add their markup.”
Yap gave no timeline for the agreement.
Quebec’s Premier says he hopes to extend the deal to include Nova Scotia.
