Since its launch, the mobile game Pokémon Go has soared in popularity and led countless players to roam the streets in pursuit. Now, one Vancouver man has been caught aggressively urging people to find somewhere else to search.
In a video obtained by Global BC, a man has been filmed cursing at the group of players standing outside a downtown condo residence on Bayshore Drive, and physically pushing another man off the property.
The location is home to four ‘Pokéstops’ and players have shown up in waves as a result, but have been warned by police.
Pat, the building concierge, says “Last night I know the cops were called, that I know of, the cops were called three or four times.”
Whether or not the people shown are trespassing is up for debate, as many tend to occupy sidewalks and nearby walkways.
