The three alarm fire was called in just after 4pm, by neighbours who say the initially tried to douse the flames with garden hoses.
It’s believed the fire started at the back of the house on a quiet cul de sac at 161 street and 113 A Ave, before quickly spreading to the roof.

Residents watched from nearby lawns in disbelief as fire crews on extended ladders tried to douse the blaze.
It’s still unclear if anyone was at home when the fire started.
