The person accused in the death of Karim Meskine has been found guilty of second degree murder.
Meskine’s mother Julie L’Heureux says her family will never recover from his death.
“Nothing can really explain how we feel. It will never be fair.”
“I don’t see any remorse. But what I can tell you – if you take my heartbeat and my high blood pressure right now…you know…ask my pharmacist…he will let you know. But it’s what we have to do. I am like a block of ice, and I cannot melt.”
The person found guilty was cannot be identified because he was a youth at the time of the incident. He was unknown to Meskine and eventually turned himself in to police and was charged with second degree murder.
