Music lovers will be out in full force this weekend as the 31st Annual TD Vancouver International Jazz Festival kicks off 10 days of world class music with 30 free concerts on the grounds of the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Square.
This year, the festival says goodbye to iconic Vancouver bandleader Dal Richards, who passed away last year. His swing band, the Dal Richards Band, opens the Georgia Street stage at 12:30 with a “A Salute to Dal Richards”.
The event features three stages, food trucks, two licensed bistros, an artisan market, and family friendly activities.
