It’s been an agonizing wait for the family of a Langley man struck and killed six months ago.
RCMP are pleading for the public’s assistance identifying the suspect vehicle.
44-year-old Daniel McAuley was struck while walking home in the early hours of December 20th, in the 2900-block of 200th Street.
The driver took off, leaving his lifeless body in the street.
Six months later, the police investigation has stalled.
Now Langley RCMP Corporal Holly Largy says police are looking for the driver of a red Toyota Camry made between 2007 and 2011.
“I don’t want to speak specifically for the family, I can only imagine what is going on. I know that they have been speaking with investigators and would very much like to see this concluded at some point.”
She says the vehicle may have sustained front end damage.
