In typical fashion, real estate records were broken last May in this province.
The B.C. Real Estate Association says 13,458 units were sold last month.
That’s up more than 32% when comparing to this time last year.
The total dollars sold in the province: $9.72 billion – up 50% from May of 2015.
The average price for a home in the province in May was $722,146.
Even with construction at a record pace, the association says demand continues to overshadow housing supply.
