Vancouver police say the suspicious death where a body was found near the shores of the Fraser River on Monday is considered a targeted homicide.
VPD say a name will not be released until the next of kin have been notified.
Police were alerted to the discovery of a body at the foot of Bentley Street near the Milltown Marina in Vancouver.
According to VPD, the body was found wrapped in a sleeping bag.
This is Vancouver’s fourth homicide this year.
Police say there’s no public safety concerns.
