That’s how the top boss at Kinder Morgan is describing Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson’s campaign to block the expansion for the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion proposal.
Speaking to CKNW guest host Mike Smyth, Ian Anderson says Robertson is creating an intense level of concern and worry amongst his constituents in his opposition to the pipeline proposal.
“His views and opinions haven’t changed. He’s looking to use his position in many respects to influence a broad section of people here in the Lower Mainland.”
Robertson is in Ottawa today telling decision makers the project is not worth the risk.
It would increase the number of tankers in Burrard Inlet seven-fold and triple the pipeline’s capacity to carry diluted bitumen from Alberta to a terminal in Burnaby.
Anderson also took calls from CKNW listeners during the interview.
