Two people have been charged with firearms and drug offences following a raid on a drug lab in White Rock, which turned up a supply of Fentanyl among other drugs.
31-year-old Pardeep Grewal and 46 year old Frederick Wilson-Koonpackdee have been charged with once count each of possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl, as well as cocaine and heroin.
That raid took place earlier this month and also uncovered various drug related paraphernalia, and firearms
Fentanyl is commonly used in drug labs as a mixer for heroin and cocaine — bulking up profits for the distributors by selling more supply.
That drug blamed for 200 deaths in BC in the first three months of this year.
The clandestine lab was in the 800 block on Parker Avenue where police say they also uncovered various drug related items and firearms.
Police say they expect more charges to follow.
