A Canadian ambassador who took down an Islamic terrorist in his old job as Sergeant-in-Arms in the House of Commons is making news again after tackling a protester in Ireland.
According to the Irish Independent News, Kevin Vickers in the role of Ambassador, was attending a ceremony commemorating British soldiers who died in 1916.
As the wreath was being laid a shouting protester tried to intervene and was tackled by Vickers who held the man for a minute until he was arrested.

The protester is now facing charges.
The event was attended by a number of Irish and British dignitaries.
Vickers made headlines around the world for taking down Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who shot and killed Corporal Nathan Cirillo before being killed in a gun battle on parliament hill.
He was later hailed as a hero and met with a standing ovation in the House of Commons.
