Last Friday’s bizarre afternoon shutdown involving a naked woman and two men at a Downtown Vancouver business has ended with no charges recommended.
In a statement, Vancouver Police say after searching the business, and interviewing those involved, there isn’t enough evidence to recommend charges.
VPD previously thought there may have been a case of sexual assault.
The strange incident unfolded last week when someone called police just after 12:00 p.m. to say they’d seen a foot behind the counter at a Wind Mobile store on Robson near Hamilton.
When police arrived, they found the naked woman, and one man inside. A second man was also taken into custody.
The incident shut down much of the traffic in the area for the afternoon. Police haven’t released any further details about the situation.
