Taseko Mines is calling it a “procedural matter” as the Supreme Court of Canada has dismissed a leave to appeal with costs in its battle with the Federal Government.
The mining company says it was trying to get access to what the Federal Government calls privileged material that the company was trying to access via an FOI.
The Supreme Court has rejected that bid.
Taseko has another civil case against the Federal Government, which it says will take years to resolve itself.
This is a battle over the then-Harper government rejecting the proposed New Prosperity gold and copper mine near Williams Lake.
