Site-C Dam protesters camped out at BC Hydro’s downtown headquarters on Dunsmuir have packed up.
This after the company filed an application for an injunction to try to remove the camp it has been occupying.
It claimed the campers were causing damage and intimidating workers.
Protester Cameron Davidson, who was named in the claim say protesters didn’t accomplish what they hoped but…..
“No…I mean the idea is to stop a dam right and were’e not there yet but we have a lot of people cluing into it now. A guy stopped by on his bike and took three copies of a letter two weeks ago. It definitely seems to have made it to a national conversation, more than it was before.”
Campers had been on site since mid-March.
