A Vancouver police officer is recovering after a call involving an emotionally distraught woman.
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. last night.
An officer responded to a call at an apartment on West 2nd Avenue.
While talking to the woman, she suddenly pulled out butcher knife from behind her back and started swinging.
