“Remember that these people are in need and the things you take for granted, they don’t even have the basics.”
Two moving companies are coming together to help the nearly 100,000 people displaced because of the devastating wildfire in Fort McMurray.
Speaking on Drex Live, James Coisneau of Kary Movers says U-Haul has donated a 26-foot truck.
Coisneau is asking the public for help.
“We want to get necessities. We want toiletries, diapers, formula, non-perishable food items. And we can’t forget about the animals that are misplaced as well.”
Once the truck his filled, Coisneau and his team will be driving it to Fort McMurray.
If you want to donate, you can drop items off Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at the U-Haul in Langley just off the bypass, at 19316 56th Avenue.
Yesterday they were in North Vancouver accepting donations.
