Transit Police have made two arrests in two separate sexual assault cases.
The first one happened last Monday when a man followed a woman onto the train at Main Street.
He then proceeded to put his hand between the woman’s legs and groped her.
She managed to get away at Granville SkyTrain Station.
A 53-year-old Surrey man not known to police has been arrested in connection with that case.
In the second case, which happened last Thursday, a woman going up the escalator at Patterson Station felt someone’s hands between her legs.
She turned and spotted a man groping her.
A 29-year-old Burnaby resident who is known to police was arrested in relation to this incident.
Both will make appearances in Vancouver Provincial Court in June.
