A month after his death, police are continuing the call for witnesses to a stabbing that killed a man in broad daylight on Vancouver’s Downtown Eastide.
He was stabbed at around 4:30 in the afternoon, on Main and Hastings streets, during a fight between several people, and yet the VPD’s Sergeant Randy Fincham says so far no arrests have been made, despite the amount of foot and street traffic at the time.
“We do know that there were a couple of cars that had to drive around and avoid this assault that was taking place, a number of pedestrians also had to walk around and avoid this from happening.”
