Police in Washington State have made ground in their investigation into a missing woman, who used to live in BC, and her American husband.
The Snohomish County Sheriff says the two vehicles of Monique Patenaude and husband Patrick Shunn have been located, but the pair are still unaccounted for.
“For them not to connect with anybody is very alarming.”
A woman originally from B.C. and her husband have become the subject of a major crimes investigation in Arlington, Washington state since they were reported missing earlier this week.
46-year-old Monique Patenaude hasn’t been seen since late Monday morning, and her husband 45-year-old Patrick Shunn didn’t turn up for work Tuesday.
Her friends in B.C. say they are extremely worried.
Friend Rachel says her friend vanishing off the grid with no explanation is unusual.
“Monique loves animals, she has chickens and dogs at their place…they were all left unattended which is just not in her nature whatsoever.”
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office say their disappearance is considered suspicious, but tell CKNW there are no persons of interest in this case.
