California pop-punk act The Story From Here is facing an online backlash after the lead singer was captured drop kicking a fan off the stage at a Toronto Concert.
The band was performing at the Mod Club Sunday Night, when a fan climbed onto the stage to take a selfie.
About 35 seconds into the video, Parker Cannon can be seen running up behind the girl, leaping into her and sending her flying into the crowd.
CKNW has reached out the club owner and the band for comment.
In the video, the crowd responds with screams and cheers to the kick… but the online reaction hasn’t been so kind.
The story so far is trash. If you feel so entitled to literally drop kick a girl off stage you don't deserve your platform— Cally™ (@cally_turner) April 13, 2016
Anyone wanna buy my @thestorysofarca vinyl for one cent? Very embarrassed to say I listen to them with the way they treat their female fans.— Dan (@PuppyChrist) April 13, 2016
I couldn't be a singer in a Pop Punk band. I'm not angry at any of my ex girlfriends. Certainly not angry enough to drop kick someone— emo grandmother (@SuarezSucks) April 13, 2016
i was excited to see tssf this summer but not anymore. it's no fun feeling unsafe at a show because the artist can't control himself. god— julia (@tiffanybIewz) April 13, 2016
