Okay, full disclosure, I am married and have been with my wife for almost a decade.
So the thought of dating, and having to meet someone new in today’s world is absolutely terrifying.
I can only imagine what it must be like for women when apps like Tinder have a reputation for guys saying “hello” only to quickly follow that up with “so how ’bout some sex?”
But a new dating app aims to make women more comfortable.
It’s called Boompi, and the way it makes women more comfortable is by allowing them to add their friends to their chats with potential dates.
The hook is that the men won’t be able to see that there are other people reading their messages.
You may be asking yourself; why would a man sign up for a dating site when he can’t be sure how many people are reading his interactions?
In an interview with TechCrunch, the apps male founder Alejandro Ponce said, “Boys will be wherever girls are”.
Which is pretty smart considering Tinder is about 70% men.
And before men get up in arms about an invasion of privacy, women have been talking to their friends about men forever, this just makes it more convenient for them.
