Abbotsford Police say the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has now taken conduct of a shooting on Hawthorne Avenue back on March 10th.
That shooting sent two men in their early 20’s to hospital in serious condition.
At least one of them didn’t survive.
It happened near Greer Street.
Police say they don’t believe the shooting was random but no suspects have been identified.
IHIT believe the incident is as a result of the ongoing Townline Hill conflict.
“The family are urging those individuals wrapped up in this conflict to stop as they do not want to see any more violence and death as a result of it.”
Investigators are looking for a dark coloured sedan driving erratically near 33000 Hawthorne Ave on Thursday night.
