After losing to San Jose on Thursday, Vancouver took the fight to the Sharks… coming away with a 4-2 victory.
The Sharks drew first blood, with Michael Haley scoring halfway into the first period.
The Sharks’ lead didn’t last long though, with Linden Vey evening the score to 1-1 with a Power Play goal with little more than 90 seconds left in the 1st period.
Daniel Sedin pulled Vancouver ahead with a second Power Play goal early in the 2nd period, which went unanswered for the rest of the period.
San Jose’s Brent Burns evened the score 2-2 5 minutes into the 3rd period.
Hamhuis put another in the net with less than 10 minutes to go, and Alex Burrows put the final nail in the coffin with just 2 minutes to spare, taking the Canucks to their 4-2 victory.
The Canucks will stay on the road, playing the L-A Kings on Monday.
