Another example of extravagant real estate in Vancouver’s housing market.
A Point Grey home that was on the market for a couple weeks has sold for more than a million dollars over the asking price.
The 88-year-old single-family detached house received 11 offers and closed for just over $9-million dollars after being listed at $7.88 million.
Bo Park with Sutton Westcoast Realty brokered the deal.
“11 offers, ten of them were from Chinese families, and one offer was from a Caucasian family. The person who bought it was a young Chinese couple. When I say young, probably about their late thirties or forties.”
Park adds the home is likely to be torn down.
