After a two week ballot period and nearly 4,000 votes, the Vancouver Police Department has named it’s newest Mounted Unit.

The name beat out competitors Juno, Vimy, and Justice – and ironically, was the horse’s original name before being inducted into police service.
The four year old Clydesdale will support police patrolling Stanley Park and areas of the West End, along with more serious duty at protests and riots.
