Vancouver is the top city in North America in the latest Quality of Living report released by the consulting firm Mercer.
Vancouver also came in 5th world wide, the same as last year. Vienna topped the list with Zurich, Auckland, New Zealand, and Munich after them.
The evaluation of living conditions are determined by the following factors.

- Public services and transportation
- Consumer goods
- Natural environment
Other Canadian cities included Toronto at 15th, Ottawa at 17th, Montreal at 23rd, and Calgary coming in at 32nd.
