West Vancouver Police are making a strange request.
They’re asking for the public’s help in a case dating back 30 years.
Investigators are trying to find a woman who is believed to have arrived in Canada from Barbados in about 1984 and worked as a nanny in West Vancouver for several years before moving to Surrey.
Police say it’s believed she had a son, who’d be about 35 years old today.
That’s all the details the department would provide.
They say the woman may be able to help them in the case, and she is not a suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to call West Vancouver Police.
