The drug company Pfizer is issuing a voluntary recall for Advil Liquid products for infants and children.
They found that in some cases, ibuprofen was forming clumps in the bottle which could lead to higher or lower doses if the bottle wasn’t shaken well before each use.
Health Canada is recommending that consumers stop using these products and return them to a pharmacy.
If parents have given their children liquid Advil and have concerns, Health Canada advises them to consult a health care practitioner.
