In the wake of charges laid against a BCIT student in an alleged Peeping Tom case, comes a rather cryptic message about another student.
Bill Dow, associate vice-president of student services, has emailed students to say, “BCIT has been made aware of allegations that a student’s off-campus activities may have violated BCIT’s policies.”
He says an inquiry is ongoing and staff are reaching out to any affected students. Dow encourages concerns about safety or security to be reported.

Student Jessica Fedigan says with little information to go on, she’s left feeling uneasy….
“I would say it’s great that BCIT is trying to improve their communication strategy but I am left a little bit uneasy not knowing exactly what the situation is about.”
The school was taken to task for not alerting students to the alleged voyeurism.
Officials would not comment when asked if police are involved in this latest investigation.
