B.C. child-killer Allan Schoenborn has failed to delay a hearing in which Crown lawyers will try to have him designated a high-risk accused.
Schoenborn was found not criminally responsible for killing his three children in Merritt in 2008.
The children’s family wants him to be designated a high-risk accused so that his requests for possible freedom from his psychiatric hospital in Coquitlam are not as frequent.
Schoenborn is challenging that application, claiming it violates his charter rights.
The hearing is set to go ahead as planned in May.
