The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says two UN gang members have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit murder of Kevin LeClair and Jonathan Barber.
IHIT superintendent Dwayne MacDonald: “After a tireless and extensive police operation charges of conspiracy to commit murder have been approved against 32-year-old Vancouver resident Troy Tran and a 31-year-old man who on the advice of Crown is not being identified in order to preserve the integrity of a future court proceeding.”
MacDonald says LeClair – a known associate of the infamous Bacon brothers – was the victim of a shooting in a grocery store parking lot in Langley in 2009.
Barber, a car stereo installer, was an innocent man killed in a botched shooting in Burnaby in 2008.
A car stereo installer, he was driving a car belonging to a suspected gang member when he was shot to death.
Two other people have been charged in the death of LeClair; Cory Vallee was arrested in Mexico and deported back to Canada in 2014, while UN gang leader Conor D’Monte (pictured below) is still wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
