Burnaby RCMP are on the lookout for a suspect after a possible baby snatching attempt.
The incident actually happened back on Sunday January 17th, at the Lougheed Town Centre Skytrain Station, at around 4:30pm.
Police received a report of a suspicious circumstance.
Corporal Daniela Panesar says nobody was injured during the incident and the suspect fled on foot.
“The report was that there may have been an attempted abduction of an 18-month-old baby.”
Investigators are looking for further information to confirm what actually happened, and to identify the suspect.
The alleged suspect is described as a 45-year-old male, dark complexion, approximately 160 cm tall and thin build.
He was last seen wearing a dark rain jacket with a tear in the back, dark blue jeans and black boots at the corner of Lougheed Highway and Government Street.
