All’s well that ends well.
It turns out that the Pacific Centre Mall incident created a whole lot of angst for nothing.
Vancouver Police have now confirmed they’ve identified and spoken with the three men caught on surveillance video taking photographs of the entrances and exits of Pacific Centre Mall in downtown Vancouver Tuesday night.
Constable Brian Montague says the trio have a logical explanation for their behaviour and police have determined they are completely innocent.
He hasn’t said exactly why the men were taking the photos.
Earlier today Vancouver Police Chief Adam Palmer says the information was never intended to get out to the public.
An internal memo was leaked to a local news outlet. Police always maintained the public was not at-risk.
