A children’s karate instructor in Squamish is out on bail amid charges of sexual touching.
Shane Anthony Morrow, 40, is accused of one count of sexual interference of a person under 16 and one count of sexual assault.
A call to the Squamish Flow Training Centre confirmed Morrow previously booked the venue for his karate classes. But the person who answered the phone told CKNW no classes are being held this week because of the holidays.
As part of his $5,000 bail conditions, Morrow is to have no contact with the alleged victim, nor with anyone under 16 unless an adult is present.
He is expected to reappear in court Jan. 13.
The Crown continues to review the file, and assessing whether there will be any change in the charges already before the court.
