With advent calendars coming to an end, so are the amount of shopping days before Christmas.
Today is expected to be the busiest shopping day of the year with Canadians expected to spend close to $1 billion.
It appeared that way at Pacific Centre this morning with Steve Rudd waiting to get inside the Apple Store.
“I’m just looking to get my dad a little Apple TV. I came here to stand in this line apparently,” Rudd said.
That is the last gift he had to buy and considers himself lucky that he doesn’t have to buy too many.
Dylan Weiwood went shopping having not bought any presents.
“This is like my third attempt at Christmas shopping and I’ve tended to come up empty handed thus far. But that’s kind of just the way it tends to go for me,” he said.
Interac says Canadians spent $680 million dollars last Wednesday.
