If you go for walk in the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve over the holidays, you might come across some trees that stand out from the rest.
To the delight of some hikers, trees along major trails have been decorated with the red, green and gold of Christmas.
These photos were taken by CKNW’s Sam Ferris earlier today. They’re roughly in the area where Hyannis Point meets the Hyannis Connector (see map below).
Park ranger Megan Kobitzsch says LSCR rangers are not the ones behind the mystery.
Stay on Trail
If you’re planning to go out for a hike in the reserve, make sure you check out the Metro Vancouver website for the latest information regarding trail closures, opening and closing hours, and other safety precautions.
