If last night was any indication, multitudes of fans hitting theatres for The Force Awakens this weekend will be in costume.
In fact, Cineplex is encouraging fans to wear costumes to “enhance their Star Wars experience”.
But when it comes to props, they’re advising people to leave them at home if there’s a chance they could be a tripping hazard or block other fans from seeing the screen.
They are also prohibiting all masks and toy weapons from their theatres.
Storm troopers, Han Solos, Princess Leias, and Wookies were just some of the characters in line for last night’s Vancouver premiere at the Scotiabank Theatre.
The most dedicated fans showed up the theatre at 4 am, participating in a 16-hour movie marathon in preparation for the big event.
