Amid mounting terror fears in Belgium, Canada has closed its embassy in the capital, Brussels.
The government says until further notice, the embassy will only provide consular services.
And while it says there is no nation-wide advisory in effect for Belgium, the department of foreign affairs warns Canadian travelers in the country to “exercise a high degree of caution due to the current elevated threat of terrorism.”

Earlier today, the BBC reports Belgian police made 16 arrests in anti-terror raids, but failed to capture suspected Paris attacks gunman Salah Abdseslam. No weapons or explosives were found during the searches.
