Parents in Port Moody are being warned after the attempted abduction of a teenage girl.
Port Moody Police say the 14-year-old was walking home alone around 3:30 pm yesterday along David Avenue when she was allegedly grabbed, and pulled into a van.
Investigators say she was held in the van for around an hour and a half before being released, physically unharmed.
Police are now looking for a newer model white Mercedes Sprinter van, and three suspects.
The first suspect is described as a Caucasian man between 25 and 30-years-old, with possibly olive skin and long brown hair. He is described as 6’4″, weighing over 200 pounds, and had a muscular, athletic build. Police say he was wearing a white sweatshirt with a red maple leaf on the arm and black pants.
The second suspect is also described as a Caucasian man between 25 and 30 years old, with possibly olive skin and short, light brown hair. He is described as 5’7-5’8″ tall, weighing over 200 pounds, and has a body-type suggesting he may be a body builder. Police say he has a short, dirty blonde beard, and a black mark on the side of his neck that may be a tattoo.
The third suspect is described only as being male, and wearing a Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap.
