The 12th annual Diwali Fest kicked off today at the Roundhouse in downtown Vancouver.
With singing, dancing and of course, delicious food, this year’s Diwali festival is poised to be bigger than ever.
Festival producer Rohit Chakani.
“We’ve always been in Vancouver and Surrey and now we’ve expanded it to Richmond and the TriCities area, and so we’re really excited about that”.
Also new this year, a partnership with the Cultch Theatre.
“We expanded our programming to include theatre and dance presentations which are international shows and all these shows are in partnership with the Cultch”.
The festival continues until November 15th.
