A Langley woman who helped nurture 24 Pekingese and Shih Tzus back to health is hoping the online community will continue to provide them aid.
Lisa Bogardi says over 60 dogs were seized in Washington, living in deplorable conditions that left them barely living in their own feces and urine.
She says many of the dogs didn’t survive, and those that did had open wounds, rotten teeth, and severe eye infections.
But after a lot of care and thousands of dollars in costs, she and other volunteers are hoping donations will cover surgeries and eventually help get them to their ‘forever homes’.
