Vancouver police are putting out a warning after four purse snatchings over almost as many days.
All four took place in the Chinatown area between Oct. 28 and Nov. 1. The victims were all Asian women, aged 59 to 91.
Sgt. Randy Fincham says police will increase patrols there.
“What we’re doing now is working with any witnesses in the community, looking for video in the community and seeing that we can get a better description or better description than we have.”
In each case, the suspect was described as a white man in his 20s, six feet tall with a slim build, and he was wearing blue jeans and a dark jacket.
Anyone with information should contact Vancouver Police or Crime Stoppers.
