Liberal candidate Jonathan Wilkinson wins North Vancouver, riding to victory with a healthy lead.
The North Vancouver riding has been held by the Conservative Party since 2008. Prior to that, it was held by the Liberals for four years. The riding includes the entirety of the City of North
Vancouver and the majority of the District of North Vancouver.
Polls considered Conservative Andrew Saxton and Liberal Jonathan Wilkinson as the two leading candidates.
This is the first federal election for former CEO Jonathan Wilkinson. He is a businessmen working with companies in green technology. Wilkinson has worked as CEO of QuestAir Technologies and BioTeQ Enviromental Technologies.
He currently serves as a board member and treasurer on the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation.
