Veteran Politician Ed Fast has scored another easy victory in his Abbotsford riding.
Fast has been in the House of Commons for nine years, and says he “brings a special skill set” to the table.
In interviews with local media, Fast sticks with the party line, saying the Harper Conservatives are the best option when trying to steer the nation through tricky financial times.
Heading into voting day, he said he didn’t want to speculate on voter intentions, which had the Conservatives trailing the Trudeau Liberals.
Since first running federally back in 2006, Fast has never had a “close-call” at the national level, winning each election with at least sixty percent of the vote.
Prior to making the jump to federal politics, he served on Abbotsford council and the school board.
Lately in the role of Trade Minister, much of his time and energy was devoted to the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal.
