It will be 18 years before a man who admitted to killing two Metro Vancouver women and a man will be able to apply for parole.
Sarbjit Bains was sentenced Wednesday to life in prison on two second-degree murder convictions and 10 years for manslaughter.
He pleaded guilty in April in the deaths of Jill Lyons, Karen Nabors and Amritpal Saran.
Saran’s body was found on Surrey’s Colebrook Road in February 2014.
Six months later, Lyons and Nabors, two sex workers, were found dead in their New Westminster apartment building.
