Two men are facing charges in connection with a shooting near school in Surrey.
A 22-year-old was injured, but survived the attack on Sept. 15.
Four charges have now been approved, and police have two definite suspects in mind.
RCMP Supt. Manny Mann spoke to reporters on Friday afternoon.
“Shakiel Singh Basra from Delta, and Amarpreet Samra, from Richmond, both have been charged with attempt to commit murder while using a restricted or prohibited firearm, and with intentionally discharging a firearm while being reckless as to the life or safety of another person.”
People in the neighbourhood were angered over the fact the gunfire rang out near Strawberry Hill Elementary.
Police say the accused have ties in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan. They are also associated to a light-coloured Jeep, Saskatchewan licence plate 685 JUD.
Police say call 911 if you see them. Don’t approach them.
