“We have no idea, we don’t know how he died, this is a horror, that’s the only word I can use, it’s a horror.”
The family of a man killed in an altercation with Vancouver Police last month has launched a crowdfunding campaign as they fight to understand how and why he died.
Shelley Reed, Myles Gray’s aunt, says the 33-year-old was last seen making a delivery for his small business.
Hours later a struggle with six VPD officers left him dead.
But Reed says the family hasn’t been able to get answers, so they’ve taken matters into their own hands.
“We’re not quite sure what happened, that’s what this is all about, we want to know, we want to find out what happened. Go Fund Me is for the family’s legal counsel, and to keep this in the public’s awareness”
The case is currently being probed by the Independent Investigations Office.
